Dancing at Lughnasa, dlr Mill Theatre Feb 6th – 10th

Rathmines & Rathgar return to the stage with Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa – directed by Garry Mountaine

Funny and heartbreaking, Dancing at Lughnasa is about five courageous women battling poverty and shifting values in a changing Ireland.

It is Harvest time in Donegal and the Mundy sisters are teetering on the edge of catastrophe. Will extraordinary resilience be enough for these sisters to fight their fate?

Dancing at Lughnasa looks at memory – individual and collective – and the impact of change in a small village in 1930’s Ireland.

Don’t miss this award-winning play at the dlr Mill Theatre  from Feb 6th to 10th, 7.30 pm.
