The R&R has been a highly significant and major contributor to the musical theatre life of Dublin city for over 100 years . Our productions and plays, professionally presented in prestigious locations like The Gaiety Theatre and Ireland’s National Concert Hall, continue to attract maximum audiences.
Many of Ireland’s successful performers
have passed through the rehearsal rooms of the R&R, learning their trade and gaining vital experience to send them on their way to a successful career. Terry Wogan, actor David Kelly, TP McKenna, Jack McGowran, Regina Nathan, Virginia Kerr, Niamh Murray, dozens of West End stars, many Irish Opera stars, and countless TV and radio personalities.

All of the popular musicals have been successfully performed over the years – My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, The Producers – to name just a few. The R&R is also well known for a dedication to Light Opera, particularly Gilbert & Sullivan Operas including The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance and Gondoliers among others.
